Duties

• Develops and maintains applications and databases by evaluating client needs; analyzing requirements; developing software systems.

• Identifies requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual clients and with other persons in a position to understand service requirements.
• Arranges project requirements in programming sequence by analyzing requirements; preparing a work flow chart and diagram using knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, programming language, and logic.
• Programs the computer by encoding project requirements in computer language; entering coded information into the computer.
• Confirms program operation by conducting tests; modifying program sequence and/or codes.
• Provides reference for use of prime and personal computers by writing and maintaining user documentation; maintaining a help desk.
• Maintains computer systems and programming guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures.

Selection Criteria

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in information technology
• Management skills including leadership, team building and marketing
• Sound knowledge and understanding of financial reporting language
• Practical working experience with Identity Management solutions - OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect
• Knowledge of IT application development methodologies & tools (Agile, Kanban, Scrum, CI/CD etc.)
• Knowledge of programming languages (.Net, C#, Node.JS , AngularJS etc.)
• Experience developing applications with database interoperability (SQL Server).
• Experience in services oriented architecture design and enabling technologies including messaging, XML, JSON, web services, and HTTP
• Experience in dot net frameworks such as MVC, WCF, Entity Framework etc….

Responsibilities

• Utilise a range of media and web-based applications to support the delivery of the software solutions
• Contribute to the design, development and production of technology based compliance reporting resources
• Provide design recommendations for users of online systems
• Develop project documentation
• Develop UAT scripts, conduct and lead the testing process and document results
• Video editing

Requirements

• 3 years experience across HTML, CSS, Javascript and JQuery
• Experience with Adobe Suite for graphic design - Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, and InDesign

Key Role Duties:

• Develop testing strategies appropriate for each project, whether they be automated or manual testing
• Assist our team in estimating the QA time required for each project
• Develop test plans for and execute them once they are approved
• Document and share testing results with the team providing all required details for the bug to be understood and replicated. Experience creating short screen capture videos is a bonus here.
• Oversee remediation and retesting with key stakeholders through to acceptance of each issue
• Continually review and suggest optimisations to the QA process and methodology at GovReports
• Advise and assist with implementing all hardware, software and documentation for QA framework upgrades
• Monitor and ensure adherence to all agreed testing processes

• Experience with both manual and automated testing and the understanding of what method is best used for a project depending on its circumstances

• Working with an agile team to develop, test, and maintain cloud-based business applications built on Microsoft technologies
• Assisting in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, and estimates

Minimum Requirements
